Doll and Me Blankie

Welcome to the coziest snuggles of the season! This simple craft is perfect for a cold afternoon. Your little one will have fun while they make a soft fleece blanket for themselves and their snuggly HABA soft doll companion. Be creative with your fleece design choices, and watch them fall in love with crafting.

Gather Your Supplies:

These are the supplies we gathered and used for this project:

2 pieces of 48" by 60" fleece fabric
2 pieces of 15" by 12" fleece fabric
Scissors

Create your Doll and Me Blankie:

Step 1: Stack your two pieces of fleece on top each other so that they're even.

Step 2: Carefully cut strips along all the edges (going through the front and back piece of both pieces of fleece). Note: The thinner and longer the strips, the easier it is to knot, but the less blanket area you will have.

Step 4: Begin knotting your strips using a simple overhead knot. You are just knotting the front fleece and back fleece together. Continue until the entire edge of the blanket is knotted.
