Summer Fun Event- HABA's My Very First Games Animal Upon Animal {Review + Giveaway}
Marlee is at an age where she loves to play games, however it can be difficult to find games for her age group. She is able to grasp the concept of most games, but many require reading and at 3 years old she's not quite there yet. When I read about HABA's new game for preschoolers I knew it would be a hit!
The Habermaass Corporation is Owned by Mr. Klaus Habermaass, whose father started the business more than 72 years ago. Since then the company has grown to over 1,400 employees in Germany. Today, HABA prides itself on the fact that children love playing with its toys, blissfully unaware of how this fosters their development. That’s the stamp of approval the company appreciates the most, but it has been recognized by the grown-up world as well. HABA products can be found nationwide at over 1,000 U.S. specialty retail stores and in specialty catalogs and websites. Many of its products have been recognized with German and American awards including Parents’ Choice, National Parenting Center, Creative Child, Dr. Toy and The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio.
HABA offers an entire line of games specifically created for your preschooler called "My Very First Games." We were sent the award winning Animal Upon Animal game from the My Very First Games line to review and what fun we have had! This game is a great tool in teaching the rules of game playing along with good, silly fun and hand-eye coordination.
Animal Upon Animal is more than just one game, it's actually THREE in one! The variety of games go from easier to slightly more difficult, which makes it a great game to grow with your child. We played all three games, but loved the challenging one the most. It was fun watching Marlee's face when she was trying to concentrate on stacking the animals. This game is fun for our whole family, as we all let out a yelp when the stack toppled over, yet simple enough that even the youngest preschoolers can enjoy it.
With this being the first HABA product we have played with, I was blown away by the quality of the product! Rather than flimsy cardboard, the pieces were very durable and even with stood the 6 month old teething baby who occasional grabbed one. The animals are made from select hardwoods and colored with water-based stains - so no lead!
With multiple awards and praise from parents around the world, I highly suggest adding this one to your game closet. Upon visiting the HABA website I see they also offer Animal Upon Animal for bigger kids, which looks like SO much fun!
Would you like to win this game? It could be your lucky day since one Wee Share reader will win their own HABA My Very First Games Animal Upon Animal Game!
