We're especially excited about BoardGameGeek.com's Annual "BGG.CON" happening Nov.17-20th in Dallas, TX this year because for the first time ever, we will have our own HABA USA Exhibitor's booth! (BOOTH#827) .
BoardGameGeek.com is considered the web's ultimate resource for all things BOARD GAMES. It is a community more than anything, uniting gamers from all over the world and providing a central location for information and news, forums, contests, a marketplace, play aids, ratings, images and reviews. It's well known that "BGG" (as its known for short) is the largest and most up-to-date place to get gaming information. BGG.CON is one of two annual tabletop gaming conventions put on by BoardGameGeek - and will include open board gaming with more than 3,500 games available; a Texas Hold 'Em Tournament, new game vendors, a flea market of games, and more! If you're attending, the exhibit halls will open to the public on Thursday at 10am, so we hope to see you then!
We can’t wait to demo and test out during open play, our newest additions, especially three titles included in our 2017 catalog that just made their official debut in Germany at Essen Spiel: Meduris - A medieval-inspired worker placement game for 2 to 4 players ages 10+ designed by Stefan Dorra & Ralf zue Linde and illustrated by Miguel Coimbra of "7 Wonders", Lady Richmond - A fast-paced auction game for 2 to 5 players age 8+ designed by Tim Rogasch, and Picassimo - A crazy jigsaw drawing game for 3 to 6 players age 8+ designed by Carlo A. Rossi.
Fans of Adventure Land, our popular release from earlier this year designed by famed duo Kramer & Keisling, may be excited to hear that we'll have the new Limited-release expansion called Adventure Land - King and Princess available for open play as well!
We'll also be showing off some of our Fall 2016 games including our newest dexterity game Go Cuckoo, which was a favorite at GenCon 2016 and most recently at the GTS Come and Play Day, The Heroes of Kaskaria, a beginner's strategy game that is fun for the whole family, Magic Feathers, a unique children's matching game requiring players to blow a real bird feather and many others!
In addition to our new games, we will also have many others from our line-up of best-sellers including Rhino Hero, Animal Upon Animal, Dancing Eggs, Spookies and Karuba which was recently nominated for 2016 German Game of the Year (Spiel des Jahres)!
If you enjoy HABA games (which we hope you do since you're reading this!), then we'd love it if you used the "GeekBuzz" feature at the Con to "Like" our games! How does it work? All attendees receive a GeekBuzz login card. Just scan the QR code and enter the code on this card using your smartphone to rate games you play as you play. Or you can use the code on the card at the GeekBuzz stations in the Enterprise Foyer to “Like” the games you’ve been playing. They'll have a constantly updating Leaderboard in the Enterprise Foyer for you to see what other gamers are “liking”.
Fungain Games will have limited copies of Meduris available at their booth for purchase, as well as copies of Karuba, Go Cuckoo and Rhino Hero too! Check out their post on the BGG forum for details on purchasing games from them at the Con!

There will be several HABA USA exclusive giveaways throughout the Con (only open to those attending), including a chance to win a LIMITED EDITION Rhino Hero Cape JUST like the capes we sold-out of back at GenCon 2015, as well as several other fun surprises! So if you're not already, be sure to "follow" us on twitter, as we'll be randomly tweeting out details about these contests on our official HABA USA twitter page!
