- Rocks
- Paint
- Paint brushes
- Sealant (optional)

Create Your Own Painted Garden Pet Rocks:
Step 1:
Go on a walk to find rocks along a river, stream, or in the woods. Don't forget your gear to spot the best rocks!

Step 2:
Paint the top of your rocks with white paint and let dry.

Step 3:
Next, paint your garden friends of choice!
Step 4:
Have fun filling your gardens with your favorite little pets! Will you have bumblebees, butterflies, flowers? Create your own magical gardens.
Step 5:

I think this is a wonderful idea! And I’m sure my 5 and 3 yr. old nieces would have a wonderful time doing this, but I have no idea what paints are safe for the girls to use AND will stay on the rocks without washing away in the weather. Can you please make some suggestions for safe and lasting paints? Thank you.
